Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging Shan Studio ("we", "us", "our") for web development, design, hosting, or maintenance services, you ("client") agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Scope of Work

All projects begin with a consultation to define scope, deliverables, and timeline. Any work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before being carried out.

3. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to provide timely feedback, content, and access credentials required to complete the project. Delays in providing these may extend the project timeline.

4. Payment Terms

Projects are billed according to the custom quotation provided before work begins. An upfront deposit is required to commence development, with the balance due on or before delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables, including source code and design files, transfers to the client. Shan Studio retains the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

6. Third-Party Services

Projects may rely on third-party platforms such as hosting providers, domain registrars, or plugins. Shan Studio is not liable for outages, price changes, or policy changes made by these third parties.

7. Limitation of Liability

Shan Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of delivered services, including but not limited to loss of revenue or data, except where required by law.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement with written notice. Fees for work completed up to the termination date remain payable.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts where Shan Studio is registered.

10. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
